Hi my name is Lesley A Gillett I am an artist in northern California, which is where I grew up. I went to college in North Carolina and studied at Western Carolina University where I earned my BFA in drawing and printmaking. Even though I have my degree I am costantly taking classes because there is always a new medium, style or subject I can learn or improve in.So as you look at my work you will hopefully see the constant improvement growth and change in my work. I will eventually have all the work displayed on this site available for you to purchase at very reasonable prices. I think that everyone should be able to afford some origional art work at some point in their life with out going into debt to purchase it. Most of my work is smaller than 24" x 36" and comes from print editions which makes it much easier for the new art collector to buy their first work.
